Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Ben Larcombe, I’m 31 years old, married to the lovely Katie, and I live in Tunbridge Wells, England.
I’ve been playing table tennis for as long as I can remember and graduated with a degree in Coaching and Sport Science in 2011.
In 2015, my table tennis coaching hit the headlines after my YouTube video ‘Guy Plays Table Tennis Every Day for a Year’ went viral. It’s since received over 13 million views and has been featured on BBC News, The Huffington Post, and The Telegraph.
Nowadays, I only spend a couple of days a week actually coaching table tennis face-to-face. The rest of the time I spend working on a number of different online businesses. You can read more about them here.
I also spend one day a week in London at Cornhill (a bible training course) and serve at St John’s Church, Tunbridge Wells.
Physically, I enjoy table tennis, running, and weight training. In 2013, I reached an English ranking of 123rd for table tennis I also used to be ranked 34th in the UK at racketlon (a sport that literally nobody has heard of).
Intellectually, I’m very interested in non-mainstream economics. Particularly the work of Professor Steve Keen and Professor Richard Werner.
