There are a lot of Tunbridge Wells barbers. In fact, it feels almost like a new barbershop opens every other week!
But which one is the best barbers in Tunbridge Wells? Well, I’ve been to most of them. Here are my thoughts.
The Best Barbers in Tunbridge Wells
In my opinion, these are the best five barbers in Tunbridge Wells…
- Strops Barbers
- Fargs Barbers
- Max Oliver Men’s Hair
- A Few Good Men Barbers
- Prestige Barbers
1. Strops Barbers
Strops started off in Crowborough. They opened up shop in Tunbridge Wells (8 Castle Street) in February 2018. I’ve been going ever since.
It’s £21 for a 30-minute haircut or £23 for a 45-minute skin fade. And you can book in advance via the Booksy app – so no waiting around.
I get my hair cut by Yogi (Olly Yeoman) but honestly, all their barbers are decent.
2. Fargs Barbers
I used to always go to Fargs (before Strops opened). The only reason I moved to Strops was because it opened virtually next door to where I live!
Like Strops, Fargs has more than one location. It started in Tunbridge Wells (10 Camden Road) before opening further shops in Tonbridge and Maidstone.
It’s £18.50 for a walk-in men’s cut or you’ve got the option of booking an appointment for an additional £2.
3. Max Oliver Men’s Hair
Max Oliver started in Crowborough (like Strops) and then opened in Tunbridge Wells (1 Nevill Street) in 2018. It’s run by three brothers; Max, Oliver and Josh.
A gentleman’s cut and finish will cost you £25 and you can book online via Resurva.
5. Prestige Barbers
Lastly, how could I forget Prestige – home to my good friend Saeed!
You’ll find Prestige just up the road from Fargs (43 Camden Road) and very close to PureGym.
A haircut is just £12, they’re open 7 days a week, and you can book an appointment via Booksy!
